Blockhouse Bay is a costal suburb located 11 kilometres southwest of Auckland's city centre, Blockhouse Bay sits on the southern edge of the Manukau harbour. It has easy access to the airport and motorways and has a newly refurbished village-style shopping centre. The local High School is Lynfield College.
